This garden required tiding up, starting with the border in the front garden which was heavily overgrown and had no clear definition. The front border was cut out into a new informal line making the border more interesting. The existing plants were pruned; the border weeded and dug over.
Selections of summer bedding plants were then planted to brighten up the border. Hanging baskets were planted up with a selection of summer bedding adding colour and texture. A diseased overgrown viburnum was blocking light into the property this was removed. The front hedge was reduced in height and width.
The lawns were mowed and edged and the borders in the rear garden were dug over and weeded and planted with a selection of plants and roses.
The old dilapidated fencing was broken and falling down this was replaced with new posts and fencing panels which were treated with wood preservative. The archway feature was also dilapidated so we constructed a unique archway to replace this from scratch using diamond shaped trellis leaving the upright supports in place giving a rustic feel. To finish off the patio, pathway and driveway were power washed removing algae and weeds.
